The world famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels squadron thrilled thousands at the Lynchburg Regional Airshow Saturday, May 21, 2011 with a spectacular demonstration that spanned 5 nautical miles and reached speeds approaching 800 miles an hour while traveling as low as 50 feet off the ground.
