Crime of the week: Burglary

On Thursday, June 23, 2011 at approximately 3:05am members of the Lynchburg Police Department responded to 1704 12th Street, the business of Glenn A. Trent Tire and Wrecker Service in reference to a burglary. Upon arriving on scene, police officers met an employee on scene who had discovered the business had been broken into. The investigation revealed that the suspects forced entry into the building without permission, and then exited a short time later with an undisclosed amount of property and money.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Lynchburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
